Short film: “J’avais tort” (I Was Wrong)
Made by young interns at the Centre for the Prevention of Radicalization Leading to Violence (CPRLV), the short film J’avais tort (I Was Wrong) traces the radicalization of a former right-wing extremist, from adolescence to adulthood. While revealing the triggers of the process and the slow progression toward violence, the film offers a moving portrait of the character’s vulnerability.
The short film J’avais tort is a prevention and awareness tool on radicalization, more specifically right-wing extremism. Through Pierre’s story, youth workers can open up spaces for dialogue on racism, intolerance and violence.
