Understanding the far right: Ideas and movements
The far right in North and South America, Europe and Asia is a phenomenon whose origins can be traced back several decades.
This training aims to provide information on the groups and ideas found on the far right and how they have evolved over time. It begins by discussing the difficulties encountered when trying to define the far right, as well as the diversity of the movements associated with it. The training then examines whether the far right can be said to be on the rise in these regions, from the perspective of a possible normalization of these ideas and movements. It concludes with a discussion of prevention perspectives and available resources.
