Social changes around gender and sexual diversity have, in Québec as elsewhere, sparked negative reactions from movements commonly grouped under the term “Manosphere.”
The CPRLV offers a training session aimed at demystifying the movements associated with the Manosphere. In this presentation, we detail the main groups that make up the Manosphere and their ideological world. We examine the context in which these movements emerged, their media, their vocabulary and the concrete ways they express violence. Finally, this talk presents tools for engaging in dialogue with someone who identifies with the Manosphere.
